Borderline Personality Disorder






A very dear friend of mine grew up with a mother with borderline personality disorder. After many conversations with him, reading what he described about his childhood, and reading various books on the illness, I was moved to do the above painting, which I call the Borderline Vortex. The words on the right express what he experienced growing up with a borderline mother.

Thanks for the feedback. At the time that I posted this, I could not admit in this blog that it was my mother, not a friend's mother.
